Last summer, Dawn tied the knot at the stunning Heaver Castle, one of my favourite wedding venues in Kent. When she first reached out to me, she was drawn to my natural makeup and modern hairstyles, visualising herself as one of Adriana Herran’s brides.
We began with a discovery call where we delved into the details of her wedding day and Dawn’s vision for her overall look. We then scheduled a trial session at her flat in central London.
Dawn expressed her desire for a very natural makeup look that would enhance her beautiful features, as she typically doesn't wear makeup on a daily basis. We decided on a chic low bun hairstyle, complemented by modern face-framing strands to create an effortlessly elegant appearance.
We discussed a few changes after the trial for her wedding day. That were really easy to incorporate on the day thanks to an open communication.
With the help of my assistant Sonny, we took care of hair and makeup for Dawn and her seven bridesmaids. They were getting ready in the lovely Astor Wing, which is a charming Edwardian part of Heaver Castle, designed in Tudor style.
Once the bride and bridal party were ready, they met up with family and the groom for some photos before the ceremony. I think this is a great idea since everyone's looking fresh and fabulous. I stayed for the photoshoot to help Dawn look her absolute best throughout.
After the outdoor photoshoot wrapped up, I did some final touch-ups on her hair and makeup, making sure she was all set to walk down the aisle.
Then, it’s ceremony time …

It was such a joy to be part of Dawn's special day, helping her and her bridesmaids look their best. Seeing the smiles and excitement as they prepared for the ceremony was truly unforgettable.
As Dawn walked down the aisle, I knew all the little details we worked on together had come together perfectly. It’s moments like these that remind me why I love what I do. Congratulations to Dawn and her new husband! Wishing them a lifetime of love and happiness.
